About the Journal
The Journal “Agricultural Science” was founded in 2005 by the State Agrarian University of Moldova and the Institute of Agricultural Technics “Mecagro”.
The journal is a specialized scientific peer reviewed periodical publication with international coverage dedicated to the scientists, researchers, teaching staff, specialists of the agri-industrial complex and related branches. It represents a platform for the publication and dissemination of the scientific research results obtained both by the researchers from the Republic of Moldova and from abroad.
The Journal “Agricultural Science” is evaluated by the National Council for Accreditation and Attestation and it is classified in the Category B.
The Journal “Agricultural Science” publishes in the following subject areas:
- Agronomy and Ecology
- Horticulture (Fruit Growing, Vegetable Growing, Viticulture, Floriculture, Plant Protection, Silviculture)
- Agricultural Engineering and Auto Transportation
- Cadastre, Land Planning and Environmental Engineering

- Economics and Accounting
The journal has a biannual periodicity (it appears in June and December) and it is available in print and electronic formats.
