Publishing Ethics
The editorial team of Agricultural Science is committed to upholding the highest standards of publishing ethics. The journal adheres to the guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Authors’ Rights and Responsibilities
- Authors must ensure that all submitted manuscripts are original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal or publication venue.
- The submitted work must not contain plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification.
- All sources must be properly cited, and references must be complete and accurate.
- Authors are fully responsible for the authenticity, originality, and scientific integrity of their submissions.
- All individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as authors. Others who contributed in a supporting capacity may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section.
- The corresponding author must confirm that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission.
- If significant errors or inaccuracies are discovered either during the editorial process or after publication, the author is obliged to inform the editor promptly for correction or retraction.
- By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to transfer publication and dissemination rights to the journal for both print and online formats.
- The journal does not charge any fees for submission, evaluation, or publication.

- Editors ensure the confidentiality of all submissions and will not disclose information about a manuscript to anyone except the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial team members.
- Editors must not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts in their own research without the express written consent of the authors.
- Editors have full responsibility and authority to accept or reject articles based on objective academic and ethical criteria.
- All decisions will be made impartially, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political views.
- Editors are responsible for ensuring a fair and anonymous peer-review process.
Reviewers’ Rights and Responsibilities
- Reviewers are expected to conduct an objective, confidential, and timely review aimed at improving the quality of the manuscript.
- Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest or lack of expertise that would disqualify them from evaluating a manuscript.
- Information obtained during the peer-review process must not be used for personal advantage or shared with third parties.
- Reviewers should notify the editors of any ethical concerns, including significant overlap with other published works or suspected plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- Constructive feedback should be provided clearly, including suggestions for improving clarity, relevance, and scientific rigor.
